Plum wool varsity jacket for Shippensburg High School in PA, originally belonging to Laurel, class of 1977. Go Greyhounds! 

Classic styling with two gray stripes on the ribbed trim at collar, cuffs, and hem. Seven metal snap front packet, snap covers are gray metal. Gray leather trim at slash pockets on upper waist., ""Laurel"" and ""77"" embroidered on the right front chest in gray thread. Two gray wool loop stripes on a plum woolly patch are embroidered n the left chest. ""Shippensburg Varsity"" is embroidered on the back in gray,  surrounding a winged foot woolly looped patch at center.

Label from ""The Standard Pennant Co., Big Run, PA"" at neck. Size isn't noted- measures to a Medium to Large. Fully lined in green rayon twill satin. Some light nap wear consistent with age and use. A small area over ""Laurel"" looks like there may have been a pin No holes or damage. Some possible water marks to the rayon lining- likely from steaming the embroidery- does not detract, simply worth noting. Dry cleaned and ready to wear. Great color combo on an always hard to find female varsity jacket!
